Spring into an ADHD Skills Group
Friends of the Center,
I’m excited to announce that the Washington, DC Center for Neurocognitive Excellence (DCNE) is offering a new support group, the Adult ADHD Skills Group—and registration is now open.
The 6-week group will focus on practical skills for everyday life—helping you cultivate more mindful behavior, more effective time management habits, and more successful self-organization strategies.
The group will meet from April 28 – June 9 at the DCNE offices, from 6:30 to 8:30 every Tuesday. Two facilitators will conduct the confidential and structured sessions.
As a group member, you will:
- Learn and practice ways to mitigate common effects of ADHD
- Leverage hands-on materials to continue your practice at work, school, or home
- Gain greater understanding of your personal experience with ADHD
- Receive support from your peers
The adult ADHD Skills Group is the latest offering from DCNE, designed to provide you with the support, education, and insight that you need to achieve your life goals.
We’re thrilled to offer it—and I hope we’ll see you there.
Cheers,
Schuyler Cunningham, LICSW
